Time To Say Goodbye!

Today we had to say Goodbye to Charlie. She passed away this afternoon. She lived a good 18 years and was loved by many! I will miss her every day, as she kept me moving and always wanted attention from me over the past two years.

She always found my quilts to lay on, and she was there through every step of my Hawaiian quilt.

She would be there when I was sick, and she was always keeping an eye on me. She knew how I felt.

She loved being out in the sun. She was loved by the neighborhood and was a member of the family to two families. My daughter adopted her years ago, and has been at our house ever since. When my daughter left, I took over. She would be there first thing in the morning, and sit with me till it was "night, night" time, when she would get up and go to the door to be let out.

She was part of my world. May she rest in peace. I will miss her so!

Trying To Stay Out Of The Cold.

I'm enjoying my time in Lynn's lap! She keeps me warm and I keep her warm.

When she gets to be too busy for me, I sleep right in front of her chair or in the front of the heater. I keep starring at her to get her to move her laptop and let me lay on her! I have been speaking up more, so hopefully I'll get my way!

Had a "Semi-bath"

The last two days I got caught by Lynn. She brought a bowl of water and a wash rag. She had a towel with her. She really cleaned me up. Got the two matted pieces off me. Think she even cut one of them out.

I've been enjoying her company lately. Can't seem to get her to let me sleep on her more often. I keep letting her know I'm here and want attention - but that doesn't happen. Oh, well. When I get the attention, I'm in heaven!
